Audition Registrations
The Cheep Trill team is on the hunt for non-professional performers to perform in our community musical in September 2026:
Play 3 Lead Roles (1 in our Brisbane Southside cast and 2 in our Brisbane Northside cast)
Be part of our Mic’d Choir Cast (2 singers from each choir section, Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass, will be chosen from each cast - Southside and Northside)
Be in our Dance Ensemble for both Southside and Northside (must be part of the Choir Cast or Mic’d Choir Cast - this option is not available for Lead Roles or Flash Mobbers)
Who do we consider a non-professional performer? Someone who is not making/has not made, part or all of their living from performing. This is a community theatre production and like most community theatre productions, there is a fee to participate. You will not be paid for your performance. ‘Community Choir: The Musical’ is our way of giving folks who are not in the ‘performing arts world’ every day a chance to experience a taste of the spotlight – a little bit of razzle dazzle.
Auditions will be held on:
30 May for Leads and Dance Ensemble (Enoggera)
31 May for Mic’d Choir and Dance Ensemble (Camp Hill).
IMPORTANT: Review the Audition Materials (CLICK HERE) to prepare for your audition.

Auditioning for a lead role? You can only select one character to audition for. You are welcome to learn the other character’s monologue, and you may or may not be asked during your audition to perform them.
Remember to register for our choir cast if you want to be a part of the Musical regardless of your audition outcome (spots are selling faster than we can keep up) via: www.cheeptrill.com/enrol/p/musical/choir
