Our supportive and experienced Cheep Trill teachers will tailor lessons to align with your desires and goals, ensuring a safe space for you to explore your creativity. Students must be older than 8 years old and okay to travel to our studios located in Windsor and Moorooka, Qld. Both Emma & Tony have current Blue Cards.
Emma Dean (located Windsor) has been listed as "One of Ten Artists to Watch" by The New York Post and is the proud recipient of the prestigious Under Our Wing award (Tim Minchin, Sammy J). She has her AMus in classical violin (with distinction) and a Bachelor Of Music in Jazz Voice from The Queensland Conservatorium Of Music. Emma has performed her original music to sold out audiences all over Australia, the US, Berlin and Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as sharing the stage with artists such as Amanda Palmer, The Dresden Dolls, Kate Miller-Heidke, Katie Noonan, Macy Gray, Jesca Hoop & Jinkx Monsoon. In 2018, Emma was a soloist at The Commonwealth Games opening ceremony where she sang John Farnham’s iconic song, ‘You’re The Voice’. She has released countless independent CDs which have received critical acclaim, and is the founder and conductor of local community choir, Cheep Trill. In 2017, Emma wrote choir arrangements for John Farnham, Kate Ceberano, Katie Noonan and Isaiah Firebrace as part of the You’re The Voice project through Queensland Music Festival, singing for change and raising awareness about domestic violence. And in 2019 wrote choir arrangements for Little River Band’s “Help Is On Its Way”, as part of Queensland Music Festival’s national choral initiative fostering a dialogue around mental health, particularly for our men and boys. UNLEASH THE UNICORN is a ten-week creative source which can be studied with Emma in person or via Skype (depending on your goal). During the ten weeks you spend with Emma, she will develop a program specifically for you, with weekly goals and practical exercises, to help you achieve your dream and unleash your inner-unicorn!

Tony Dean graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, with a Bachelor of Music specialising in jazz drums, in 2006. Since then, Tony has been a professional musician and has performed as a multi-instrumentalist across Australia, America and Costa Rica. Tony also works as a music producer, choir assistant-musical director, and music educator.
As a singer songwriter, Tony has written and independently released his debut EP Whole Day. Tony also produces and releases original music in his recording studio - Tiny Dream Studios for Brisbane based artists. One of his latest production releases is Emma Dean's latest EP, Broken Romantics: A Vicious Song Cycle. Tony also helped record material for the closing ceremony of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Tony performs around Brisbane as an in-demand covers singer, solo singer songwriter, and as a jazz drummer/vocalist and freelance studio musician.
