Our supportive and experienced Cheep Trill teachers will tailor lessons to align with your desires and goals, ensuring a safe space for you to explore your creativity.  Students must be older than 8 years old (vocal lessons) and older than 16 years old (creativity coaching) and okay to travel to our studios located in Sandgate (Emma) and Salisbury (Tony), in Queensland, Australia.  Both Emma & Tony have current Blue Cards.

Emma Dean

Emma Dean (located in Sandgate) is a musician, performer, creativity coach, arranger, composer, maker-of-magical-things, and choir mama based in Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia. 

As a musician and performer, Emma is passionate about songwriting, arranging music for choirs, making and performing new works of art, inspiring collaborations, her awesome community choir Cheep Trill, and using music as a positive way of cultivating community. 

She has a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice from Queensland Conservatorium Of Music, an AMusA in classical violin (with distinction), and has trained with Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre. 

As a certified life coach, Emma works with people who are longing for more sparkle, creativity, confidence and magic. Perhaps you are embarking on an empowering and transformative creative project and want support and guidance to help turn your dream into a reality? Perhaps you simply want to implement a healing creative practice just for you?

In 2023 Emma was award the Outstanding Young Griffith Alumni Award for Arts, Education and Law, as well as a ‘40Under40’ award which celebrate young thought leaders, business owners, and entrepreneurs in Queensland.

Tony Dean

Tony Dean (located Salisbury, Brisbane, Australia) has a Bachelor of Music & Masters in Vocal Pedagogy from the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University. He has over 15 years of experience teaching instrumental and vocal lessons in primary schools and privately.

Tony’s vocal lessons are focused on building, fine-tuning and maintaining a healthy vocal technique. Style, emotional connection and musicality also play an integral part. Beginners, intermediate and advanced students, young and old, are welcomed and encouraged in a safe and fostering environment. They are given the tools, techniques and advice to to further their passion, dreams and/or musical careers.

Whether a singer songwriter wanting to sing while playing guitar, a passionate shower singer who wants to nail karaoke songs with their mates, a parent who has a kid that loves to sing, or a professional vocalist who is suffering from fatigue and/or pain, Tony will aim to cater for the needs of each individual client and help them reach their goals.

Tony currently offers 30, 45 and 60 minute lessons from his studio in Salisbury.

Tony also offers vocal production and recording/producing/mixing and mastering in his Tiny Dream Studios.
